What kind of antique store is PIEN?

Owners are sisters Pien van Splunter and Janny Stuurman and their husbands. New acquisitions are normally purchased by Reinold Stuurman, who is also a sworn and certified appraiser of fine arts and antiques. An extensive experience spanning more than 35 years ensures that we can offer a large and varied collection of antiques. You will find both the old and more modern fine arts well represented, especially objects from Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods but also Fifties and Sixties items are plentiful. In addition you will find paintings, far eastern art, European furniture, ethnographic art, all sorts of ceramics etc. etc. PIEN comprises about 100 square meters filled to the brim with antiques and objets d'art. Most items in our store are modestly priced, so you'll be able to find something starting at around 100 Euros, and the more expensive items are a couple of thousand Euros at the most.

Where is PIEN located?

"PIEN" is situated in the ancient inner city of Amersfoort, at Grote St. Jansstraat 1. You can park your car at the large covered car park called "Parkeergarage Beestenmarkt", which is indicated by signs as you enter Amersfoort. As you walk from the car park towards the town centre, you almost immediately find yourself in the Grote St. Jansstraat. It's also possible to park in the Grote St. Jansstraat itself, since there are a few parking places there, but you'll need a bit of luck to find an empty one!!
